Who's surprised? Gucci does the same thing every season. Same colors, same fabric, same old shit. I'm not left in awe of the pieces, and most of them are just the same designs in different colors. There is nothing new, and those fur collars? Thank Prada's Spring 2011 collection. So inventive and original to have them around the neck (ahem..Marc Jacobs a few weeks ago) instead of in the models' hands. At least Gucci isn't leaning toward the gaudy 1980's Gucci we all knew and hated (before Tom Ford). I also can't stand the larger handbags in this collection.
I don't hate the looks, I just want something different. Paris Fashion Week couldn't come any sooner.
