French Vogue May 2011

I think Emanuelle Alt is doing a tremendous job at Fr. Vogue since Carine left a few months ago. She began her rein with featuring Giselle on her first cover, and now she has another supermodel under her belt. Kate Moss gracefully posed for the magazine for the May 2011 issue (shot by Mert & Marcus), and we are very impressed. She looks amazing, as usual, and the styling and choreography of the images is breathtaking. I love the meaning behind the cover, and the style is very Alt! However, I don't know if you noticed, but the "Kiss me Kate!" headline screams Vogue Nippon/Anna Dello Russo. Anyways, here are the images below. I love that Fr. Vogue is not afraid to show some nipple! It's art, people!!

And of course we had to include that heinous editorial in Italian Vogue...probably the worst one we've seen in a major fashion magazine in a very long time. It should be a crime to see Prada in such a context. 

Miz Wintour Covers WSJ

We love the head bitch in charge, otherwise known as Anna Wintour, and we try to read anything and everything about her. Imagine our surprise when the Wall Street Journal gave her the cover for their April 2011 issue. As usual, she looks fabulous, fierce, and unmistakably scary. Yes, I am scared of her, and I know you are too. 

She looks fab in that Prada dress and her usual jeweled neckline. I can't wait to pick up this issue and read it from cover to cover. Love me some 'tour!

Itentical Vogue Cover Dresses

Just found these two recent Vogue covers, one from Vogue France and the other from Deutsch Vogue. 

Gisele Bundchen poses for Emanuelle Alt's first Vogue cover as editor in chief. I'm not sure who the blonde model is in Deutch Vogue, but she's gorgeous. They are both wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 dress. I'm not quite sure how this happened, but it's kind of embarrassing.
